How much fat do I need?

Fat is an essential part of the diet and needs to be eaten every day. It is an important part of the diet because it is a factor in normal growth and development and the maintenance of good health.

The amount of fat you eat is important. The average 2,000 calorie diet should contain between 50 and 75 grams of fat per day.

In addition, it’s not just the amount of fat you eat that counts, but the type of fat. It is best to limit saturated and trans fat whenever possible, and choose foods with mono- and polyunsaturated fat in their place more often.
